Time to go Shopping

Once those preparations are out of the way, it is time to find the right property for you.

Buyer Consultation.

Get to know your real estate agent and have all your questions answered with a 30-60 minute informational meeting in our office. At this meeting, we will set up your customized home search that will allow you to be immediately notified of any homes that come on the market matching your exact search criteria. In addition, your agent will over a Buyer’s net sheet, so you fully understand all your costs to prevent any surprises down the road.

Take a Drive.

Get to know the neighborhoods and parts of town, which interest you. We encourage you to drive around and get a feel for what it would be like to own a property in the area. Start getting a sense of the properties available in those areas.

Narrow Your Search.

After driving your areas of interest, we can then narrow down your search criteria to include only the locations that you prefer. Select a few properties within those areas that interest you the most and have your selected real estate agent make appointments to visit them.

Time to Buy.

Once you have picked out the property you want to purchase, your real estate agent will review a list of recent comparable home sales with you to help determine your offer priceand terms. In addition, after investigating the potential costs and expenses associated with the property, you will be provided with an estimated cost sheet. Your agent will help you draft your offer in a way that gives you an advantage over another offer should there be competition.
