Local Restaurants in Vegas

The weekend is approaching and Las Vegas is on the mend after a very trying time. What better way to unwind than to go to brunch, break bread with friends & family, and enjoy some yummy food. We are known for our world class restaurants on the Strip but we also have some local gems you should know about.

Echo & Rig – located in the beautiful Tivoli Village located near Summerlin and the Red Rock Mountains. This 2 story restaurants doubles as a butchery and full service eatery with some of the best cuts of meat. Needless to say their brunch is on point. Enjoy a craft cocktail at the bar as you enter the lower level. Make your way upstairs and possibly the patio with your cocktail in hand. Now, what to order?? Echo & Rigs brunch menu does not disappoint. Whether carnivore or vegetarian, there are many options to choose from. I recommend the short rib hash. o rich and savory with 2 over easy eggs and their special paprika hollandaise sauce.

EAT – located in downtown Las Vegas. Now this one is on my bucket list! Our small but mighty downtown corridor is thriving with new and funky stores, cool restaurants, and some pretty neat sight seeing. EAT is one of the more established restaurants that has actually been around for a few years. Chef, Natalie Young brings new flair to brunch items. I have heard the Huevos Motulenos is a must try.

Americana – located in Desert Shores overlooking the lake. Seriously a piece of heaven and I haven’t even mentioned their amazing brunch menu yet. As you walk into Americana, you feel like you’ve just stepped onto a yacht as the decor is nautical inspired. Make sure and grab a table on the patio overlooking the lake. You’ll see paddle boarders, ducks and even turtles. Now the food….they have a pre fix menu and bottomless mimosas that are easy on the pocket book but will fill you up with deliciousness. Faith and Team has had an opportunity to enjoy a team mates birthday there. We all agree that this brunch hot spot is a favorite of ours!

If you’re looking for a brunch spot in Las Vegas, I hope you consider one of these fabulous restaurants. I know I am going to take my own advice and connect with friends this weekend, enjoy some amazing food and talk about this wonderful city of ours. Through what has been such a challenging time for so many, Las Vegas residents have rallied and shown support like no other city I know. I love my city of bright lights and even bigger hearts. #VEGASSTRONG
